You need a new pack? Well, you’re in luck. Mountain Hardware is giving them away! Yep, you heard right. Giving them away. Like in Free. For the rest of August, Mountain Hardware is giving away one of five packs every day in the Pack-a-Day Giveaway.

The packs aren’t the expedition-style or climbing packs that you might need for trekking into the Montana backcountry or toting up long Yosemite free climbs, but hey, free is free. The five packs are designed for urban use, for carrying rock shoes and chalk bag over to the climbing gym, hauling your laptop down to the local coffee shop, or pretending to be a bike messenger by free-wheeling about town. I’ve been entering every day this last week…and losing…but I have my eye on the Paladin with a laptop sleeve and lots of pockets.
