Win Pitches with the Pros Sweepstakes!

Do you wanna go climbing with some great climbers like Steph Davis, Will Mayo, Dean Lords, Dean Potter, and Sean Jones? Well now you can if you’re both lucky and you enter Mammut’s Pitches with the Pros sweepstakes between now and January 11, 2009. You can buy raffle tickets at the Pitches for Pros website for a mere $5 or five for $20, with each ticket giving you a chance for a day of climbing with one of Mammut’s sponsored climbers. Everyone can enter and where and when you climb is up to you and your ropegun-for-a-day.

The beneficiary of this generous Mammut sweepstakes is the non-profit organization Big City Mountaineers, an outdoor group that works “exclusively with under-resourced teens by using the outdoors as a transformational element in their lives.” They run programs in most major cities, with their biggest ones in Denver and San Francisco. They do good stuff and change lives using the great outdoors.

Buy plenty of tickets between now and January to increase your chances of winning as well as to help a worthy cause. If you don’t win one of the five big climbing prizes, then you might win a secondary one like a Mammut Mirage harness, Infinity 9.5 rope, Flight 35 pack, TX headlamp, or Samurai climbing shoes. The winners will be drawn at the Ouray Ice Fest between January 9 and 11, 2009.
