Helmet
A specially designed climbing head cover made of hard resistant plastic that protects a climber’s head from falling rocks and cranial injuries as a result of climbing falls. Helmets should always be worn when climbing and belaying. Head injuries are the number one cause of deaths from climbing. It’s wise to wear a helmet that is specifically designed for climbing, rather than a bicycling helmet.
