Long Dong sees enthusiastic crowds of both old- and new-school cragsters every sunny weekend. About 85% of the climbers crank the sport lines while the remaining 15% are hard-core trad climbers, but among the former are many who dabble in gear routes occasionally. Most climbers congregate around the area at Music Hall, the scenic heart of Long Dong. Within a 100-meter stretch of sea cliffs lie dozens upon dozens of classic lines, both trad and sport, on the tallest crags of continuously solid stone found on the entire island of Taiwan.
